H.E. Matthias Schauer

Ambassador Matthias Schauer came to Kampala on July 25, 2020.

His previous posting was as Deputy Head of Mission to Ethiopia, where he was also dealing with the African Union.

Matthias Schauer has served at the German Permanent Representation to the UN in Geneva and has gained experience in EU affaires both in Brussels and Berlin. His first posting was to Seoul, Republic of Korea.
