I am a human rights lawyer and activist currently serving as the Head of Programs and Fundraising at ActionAid International, Uganda where I oversee the country programs anchored on supporting people’s struggles for social justice.
I have previously led work on women’s access to gender justice, governance, community mobilization and awareness to challenge patriarchy and advocacy for gender inclusive policies within Uganda and in the Great Lakes region of Africa. This work while I served at some of the pronounced civil society organizations championing gender justice, notably; The Uganda Association of Women Lawyers (FIDA Uganda) where I served for over 7 years, Mentoring and Empowerment Program for Young Women (MEMPROW Uganda), Refugee Law Project and Mercy Corps International in Uganda where I worked as a Gender Advisor to the country program.
